Time’s Running Out to Make
a Compassionate Donation in 2010
Saturday is Jan. 1, meaning you have just a few days to make a tax-deductible contribution to Born Free USA for 2010. Please don’t miss this chance to help the animals.
In the past 12 months, donations to Born Free USA have led directly to improved lives for thousands of animals. Through your support, we have drawn attention to the cruelties of trapping wild animals and/or “owning” them, shone a bright and positive spotlight on fur free fashion, freed two dolphins from miserable captivity and beaten back the international ivory trade — among our many other victories and accomplishments in 2010. (Please take a minute — 84 seconds, to be precise! — to watch a video in which I talk more about those accomplishments.)
And at the Born Free USA Primate Sanctuary, we continue to care for more than 500 monkeys, many of them rescued from unsuitable situations. We love our sanctuary, but to run it we rely exclusively on your financial support. As Dr. Jane Goodall says:
“Caring for each primate that has been rescued — often from a life of misery — is very important. It is also costly. Born Free desperately needs support in order to provide these primates with the kind of lives they need — and deserve.”
The next 12 months promise to present many more challenges as we continue to work tirelessly on behalf of animals. Please ensure that we have all the tools and support we need by making a donation today.
A happy and compassionate 2011 to all!
For the animals,
P.S. Please take a few minutes to complete our online survey and we’ll make sure to keep your views in mind as work (together) for animals.
